Lionel Richie - Lionel Richie
Released on October 6, 1982, while he was still a member of The Commodores, Lionel Richie’s self-titled solo debut includes such classics as “Truly”, “You Are” and “My Love.” Richie left The Commodores shortly after the release of this album and went on to sell over 100 million albums worldwide, making him not only one of the most successful singers of the 80’s, but one of the best selling artists of all time. Lionel Richie has won four Grammy Awards and was the first person to receive an RIAA diamond album award (10,000,000 copies sold.) This is an excellent example of an original pressing.
