The Who - It's Hard
The Who released their 10th studio album, It’s Hard on September 4, 1982 and would not release another studio album until over 20 years later, in 2006. This was the final album to include bassist John Entwistle, who died in 2002 and drummer Kenney Jones, who was brought in to replace original drummer Keith Moon (who died on September 7, 1978 at age 32). Notable tracks on this album include, “It’s Hard”, “Athena” and the classic “Eminence Front”, all of which appear on side 1. The album cover shows the band and a kid playing an arcade version of Atari’s Space Duel. This was a call back, or update, to “Pinball Wizard” from the band’s 4th studio album, “Tommy”. This is an excellent original pressing. Cover photo by Graham Hughes.
