Beatles - Abbey Road

What is there to say about Abbey Road, the 11th studio album by The Beatles, released on September 26, 1969, that hasn’t already been said? “Something”, “Come Together”, “Here Comes the Sun” - every one a classic. In fact, this is such a classic album we had to have in the collection, that we accepted using a 2019 reissue copy for this framing. Of course, that means the art is clear, crisp and bright and it looks great. The cover photo was shot on August 8, 1969 by Ian Macmillan, who had only about 10 minutes to take the shot while a policeman stopped traffic. The band is walking across Abbey Road, in NW London, away from the studio.

Black frame showing the album cover and side 1 of the LP.
