Phil Collins - Face Value
Face Value is the first solo album from Phil Collins and was released on February 13, 1981. Selling over 5 million copies, its success was driven by the lead single, “In the Air Tonight", which has the drum riff. You know the one. Yes, that one. The cover features a striking, black and white close up of Collins’ face, photographed by Trevor Key, who also photographed the follow up to this album, Hello, I Must Be Going. Key died of a brain tumor on December 6, 1995 at age 48. This album was remastered in 2016 and the cover photo was updated, showing a present-day Phil Collins. This is an excellent quality original pressing.
